To correctly calculate your aggregate, know that the JAMB Examination has 400 marks, whereas the WOlex Polytechnic Post UTME is 40 marks, and your O’ level is graded over 10 marks.

Wolex Polytechnic uses the 50:40:10 formula.

  • Divide your JAMB score by 8,
  • Get your Post UTME score.
  • Add up the result.

Say, Treasure had a JAMB score of 240 and a Post UTME score of 34; her aggregate score can be calculated as such:

240 divided by 8 = 30. Adding this to her Post UTME score of 34 (30+34) will give 64. Therefore her aggregate score will be determined when her O’level results are graded.
