UNN Department of Soil Science Admission Requirement 2022/2023

This article is designed to help students who wish to study Soil Science under the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of  Nigeria  Nsukka.

It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered at UNN  to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

The university celebrated its 50th anniversary on October 2010

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Soil Science; You require;

Five SSCE credit passes in English Language Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, and any other Science subject.

Jamb Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Soil Science under the Faculty of Agriculture in the above Universities include;

Chemistry, Biology, or Agricultural Science plus Mathematics or Physics.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Soil Science if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

Two ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and one in Zoology/Botany/Agric Science/Biology, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Geology, Economics, and Health Science.

Jamb Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into NDA for the 2022/2023 session, should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of  200 or above in your JAMB result.
