The admission requirements consist of O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Candidates who wish to study Physics And Astronomy at the University Of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka, must possess Five O’level credit passes in:
- English language, as well as two (2) other credits, passes from:
- Agricultural Science
- Further Mathematics
- Statistics, Technical drawing
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- Use of English
- Chemistry or Biology
