The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Candidates who wish to study Linguistics And Other Language Studies at the University Of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka, must possess Five O’ level credit passes, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics, and three (3) other subjects from:
