UNN Department of Education and Science Admission Requirement 2022/2023

This article is designed to help students who wish to study Education and Science under the Faculty of Education at the University of  Nigeria  Nsukka.

It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered at UNN  to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education and Science; You require;

Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and two other Science subjects.

Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks

UNN requires;

• Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and two other Science subjects. one subject must be the proposed teaching subject.
• For Integrated Science
• Five credit passes which include a credit in at least one Science subject and a pass in two other Science subjects.
• NDU requires five O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and any other three subjects, two of which must be science subjects in not more than two sittings.

Jamb Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Education and Science under the Faculty of Education in the above Universities include;

Three relevant Science or NBC subjects

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Science if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

• Two ‘A’ level passes in relevant Science subjects which should include the candidate’s proposed course.
• NCE credit/merit passes in addition to TC II merit or SSCE credit in relevant subjects.

Jamb Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into NDA for the 2022/2023 session, should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have score a minimum of  200 or above in your JAMB result.
