This article is designed to help students who wish to study Education and Economics under the Faculty of Education at the University of Nigeria Nsukka as it is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in UNN to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.
In this article we are going to be listing the necessary requirements candidates must meet to study in the UNN Department of Education and from O’level subject combination, JAMB Score, Post UTME Score, and departmental cut-Off mark.
To study education and Economics at UNN, candidates must meet the following requirements.
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education and Economics;
You require;
Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Economics, and Mathematics.
Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Education and Economics under the Faculty of Education in the above Universities include;
Economics, Mathematics, and one other subject from Geography/Physics, History, Government, and Lit. in English.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Economics if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
i. Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics and one other relevant subject.
ii. NCE credit/merit level passes in Economics and one other subject
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNN for the 2022/2023 session, should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 200 or above in your JAMB result.
