UNN Department of Archaeology Admission Requirement 2022/2023

This article is designed to help students who wish to study Archaeology under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities at the University of  Nigeria  Nsukka.

It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered at UNN  to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

The university celebrated its 50th anniversary on October 2010

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Archaeology; You require;

Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include the English Language and one (1) of the following subjects, Religious Studies, Geography, Economics, and History.

Jamb Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Archaeology under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above Universities include;

Any two (2) subjects from Arts, Social Sciences and one (1) of History, Religious Studies, Government and Geography.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Archaeology if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Arts or Social Sciences and one (1) Science subject.

Jamb Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into NDA for the 2022/2023 session, should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a score of a minimum of  200 or above in your JAMB result.
