The University of Geneva’s Faculty of Science is an internationally recognized leading research institution which hosts three National Centres of Competence in Research of the highly competitive Swiss National Sciences Foundation (Chemical Biology; SwissMAP; Planets) and many European research projects.
The program’s Master’s degrees are either entirely in English alone or in both English and French.
With the support of external partners and several sponsors, the Faculty of Science established an Excellence Masters Fellowship program that is made open to exceptionally outstanding and highly motivated students who wish to pursue a Master of Science degree in any of the disciplines the Faculty covers.

Financial Benefit
The scholarship value is CHF 10,000-15,000 per year, barely above 6 million to 9 million, respectively, in West African CFA (about 4.5 million to 6.6 million nairas).
Suppose the applicant achieves academic achievement at the end of the first semester of studies. In that case, the scholarship is granted for one year and extended for the regular length of the chosen Master’s program (three or four semesters).
