Osun State University (UNIOSUN) celebrates National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation for 26 courses and staff contributions to national projects, highlighting its commitment to excellence.
Osun State University Secures NUC Accreditation
Twenty-six (26) undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Osogbo, have been granted full accreditation by the National Universities Commission.
While discussing the institution’s recent achievements, the news was announced by Prof. Clement, the University’s vice-chancellor.
Further information was provided by the public relations officer of the University, Ademola Adesoji.
Several teams assessing UNIOSUN’s teaching and learning facilities were explained, and the personnel available for the academic programs for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, respectively.
According to the statement, “The outcome was received yesterday from the NUC. I’m glad to let you know that 100% full accreditation, 26 in total, were recorded for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs.”

Prof. Adebooye also said from the department of History and International Studies, Dr. Samson Adesote is to participate in the historical documentation of the Nigerian Army’s peacekeeping interventions in Liberia and Sierra Leone as invited by the Nigerian army.
It is considered a major national project by the University, and the contribution of the University of Osun’s involvement of its staff pleases them.
