UNIMAID Department of Chemical Engineering Admission Requirement 2022/2023

This is to notify the general public and all aspiring students of the University of Maiduguri, (UNIMAID) that the Department of Chemical Engineering admission requirements has been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Chemical Engineering include the following:

Five SSCE credit passes to include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language and any other Science subject.

Special Consideration (Waiver) Remark

UNIMAID requires Mathematics, Physics and any of Chemistry or Biology.

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

NTNU accepts any three Science subjects.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Chemical Engineering as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: ‘A’ level passes in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIMAID for the 2022/2023 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a score of a minimum of 160 or above in your JAMB result.
