In this article we are going to be listing the necessary requirements candidates must meet to study French in the Lagos State University ranging from O’level subject combination, JAMB Score and Post UTME Score and departmental cut-Off mark.
To study French, candidates must meet the following requirements.
O’LEVEL SUBJECT COMBINATION
Below is the UTME Requirement for French as a course
- Five (5) SSC credit passes including French and English Language plus one (1) other Arts subject.
Please Note: The UTME Requirement above is same for courses like;
- Modern and European Languages.
- French and International Relations.
- French and International Studies.
- French with German/Russian.
JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION
- English Language(*), French and any other two (2) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.
Please Note: The UTME Subject Combination above is same for courses like;
- Modern and European Languages.
- French and International Relations.
- French and International Studies.
- French with German/Russian
DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR FRENCH
Below is the Direct Entry (DE) Requirement for French.
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes including French and one (1) other Arts subject.
Please Note: The Direct Entry Requirement above is also same for courses like;
- Modern and European Languages.
- French and International Relations.
- French and International Studies.
- French with German/Russian.
For any candidate to be admitted in any Department in the University of Lagos, the Candidate must score 200 and above in JAMB
