O’Level Subject Combination
Below is the UTME Requirement for Economics (in the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences)
- Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two (2) Arts or Social Science subjects.

- Peace and Development Studies,

Jamb Subject Combination
Below is the JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION for Economics in the Social and Management Sciences faculty.
English Language(*), Economics, Mathematics, Government, History, Geography, Literature-in-English, French, and Christian Religious Studies/Islamic Studies.

Direct Entry Requirement For Economics
Below is the Direct Entry (DE) Requirement for Economics in the Social and Management Sciences faculty.
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Economics and any one (1) in Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Accounting, Business Management, History, and Government.
JAMB Score
For any candidate to be admitted to any Department in the University of Lagos, the Candidate must score 200 and above in JAMB.
