The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is a federal government research university in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The school has maintained one of the most competitive in the country regarding admissions. UNILAG has one of the largest student population sizes of any university in the country.
In this article, we will be listing the necessary requirements candidates must meet to study Biochemistry at Lagos State University, ranging from O’level subject combination, JAMB Score and Post UTME Score, and departmental cut-Off mark.
To study Biochemistry, candidates must meet the following requirements.
O’Level Subject Combination
Below is the UTME Requirement for Biochemistry
Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Biology.
Jamb Subject Combination
Below is the UTME SUBJECT for Biochemistry
English(*), Biology(*), Chemistry(*) and Physics or Mathematics.
Biochemistry Direct Entry Requirement
- Two ‘A’ level passes were chosen from Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Biology.
- For Applied Biochemistry, Two A’level Passes in Health Science can be accepted in place of Biology.
- NCE/ND/HND in related field plus UTME requirement (above).
- KSU, ABSU, and IMSU do not accept Direct Entry Entry Candidates
For any candidate to be admitted to any Department in the University of Lagos, the Candidate must score 200 and above in JAMB.
