UNIJOS Department of Pharmacy Admission Requirement 2023/2024

This is to notify the general public and all aspiring University of Jos (UNIJOS) students that the Department of Pharmacy admission requirements have been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Pharmacy include the following:

Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.

• English Language
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Pharmacy if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

• Three (3) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry, Biology/Zoology, and Physics or Mathematics plus UTME requirements

Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks

• UNIJOS does not accept Mathematics for Physics.
• UNIJOS accepts B.Sc second class and above in related programs. It accepts Direct Entry candidates with ‘A’ level requirements plus five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIJOS for the 2023/2024 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a minimum score of 180 or above in your JAMB result.
