This is to inform the general public and all University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) aspirants that the admission requirements for the Department of Physics have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Physics include Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics and any other Science subject from Further Mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Chemistry or Biology
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Physics if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- NCE/Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Physics, Mathematics, or Chemistry
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNICROSS for the 2022/2023 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 140 or above in your JAMB result.
University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), formerly known as Cross River University of Technology CRUTECH, was founded in 2002 and is managed by the state of Cross River.
