The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Nursing and Public Health include the following: Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Physics
- English Language
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology

Below is the Direct Entry Requirement for Nursing and Public Health:
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Biology/ Zoology, Chemistry, and Physics plus three (3) other ‘O’ level credit pass in Mathematics, Physics, and English Language.
- NRN or its approved equivalent plus five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language and four (4) Science subjects chosen from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Human Anatomy, Physiology and Hygiene, Health Science, Further Mathematics, and General Science.
JAMB Score
For any candidate to be admitted in any Department in the University of Lagos, the Candidate must score 150 and above in JAMB.
