The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
About The University of Calabar
The University of Calabar is a federal university in Cross River State, Nigeria’s south-south region. In 1975, the university was established.
The university has a very large student and staff population and a diverse student body. All applicants to the university are accepted, regardless of their cultural or religious background. Additionally, there is no restriction on applicants’ ages.
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study History & International Studies include the following:
You require Five O/level credits to include the following:
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- History/Government and any other two (2) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences
Direct Entry Requirement For History & International Studies
Below is the Direct Entry Requirement for History & International Studies:
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes/NCE (upper credit) in History/Government and other related subjects
For any candidate to be admitted to any Department in the University of Calabar, the Candidate must score 150 and above in JAMB.
