The University of Calabar is a university situated in Calabar, Cross River State, south-south Nigeria. It is one of Nigeria’s second generation federal universities. The University of Calabar was a campus of the University of Nigeria until 1975. The architecture was designed by John Elliott.

- Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Geography, Government/History.

JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION
Below is the UTME/JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION for History and International Studies in faculty of Arts and Humanities.
- English Language(*), History/Government and any other two (2) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.
Please note that the UTME/JAMB subject combination above is same for courses like; History and Diplomatic Studies, International Studies and Diplomacy, International relations and diplomacy, History and Diploma, International and comprehensive politics.
DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR HISTORY AND INTERNATIONAL STUDIES
Below is the Direct Entry (DE) Requirement for History and International Studies in faculty of Arts and Humanities.
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes/NCE (upper credit) in History/Government and any other related subject.
For any candidate to be admitted in any Department in the University of Lagos, the Candidate must score 150 and above in JAMB.
