This is to inform the general public and all aspirants of the University of Calabar that the admission requirements for the Department of Agricultural Science and Education have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Agricultural Science and Education include the following: Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Chemistry
- Biology/Agricultural Science
- Mathematics and any other relevant subject
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language and Any three (3) subjects from below:
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Agricultural Science
- Physics
- Economics
- Geography
- Mathematics
Direct Entry Requirement For Agricultural Science and Education
Below is the Direct Entry Requirement for Agricultural Science and Education :
- Two (2) passes at ‘A’ level in Biology/Zoology /Botany and any other Science subject
- NCE merit in Biology and any other Science subject
- NCE merit in Agriculture (Double Major)
JAMB Score
For any candidate to be admitted to any Department in the University of Calabar, the Candidate must score 150 and above in JAMB.
