UNIABUJA Department of Philosophy Admission Requirement 2023/2024

This article is designed to help students who wish to study Philosophy Faculty of  Arts and Humanities at the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA).

It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in UNIABUJA  to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

The university runs regular degree, diploma, and postgraduate programs. Its location in the Federal Capital Territory has a Centre for Distance Learning School, which provides university education to those who cannot acquire such education through the regular university system and those interested in acquiring new knowledge and specialized skills.

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Philosophy;

You require;

Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include the English language and four (4) other relevant subjects.

Jamb Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Philosophy under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above Universities include;

Any three (3) subjects.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Philosophy if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

Any two (2) ‘A’ level passes.

Jamb Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIABUJA  for the 2023/2024 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 180 or above in your JAMB result.
