UNIABUJA Department of Microbiology Admission Requirement 2023/2024

This article is designed to help students who wish to study at the Microbiology Faculty of  Sciences at the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA).

It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in UNIABUJA  to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Microbiology; You require;

Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

JAMB Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Microbiology under the Faculty of Sciences in the above Universities include;

Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics or Mathematics.

Direct Entry Requirements

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Microbiology if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and any one (1) from Biology, Zoology, or Botany.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIABUJA  for the 2023/2024 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 180 or above in your JAMB result.
