The university runs regular degree, diploma, and postgraduate programs. Its location in the Federal Capital Territory has a Centre for Distance Learning School which provides university education to those who cannot acquire such education through the regular university system and those interested in acquiring new knowledge and specialized skills.
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Medicine and Surgery; You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Jamb Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Medicine and Surgery under the Faculty of Medical, Pharmaceutical & Health Sciences in the above Universities include;
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Medicine and Surgery if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- ‘A’ Level passes in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Zoology in addition to the UTME requirements.
- BSC, BOS, etc in the relevant program.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks:
- UNIABUJA requires DE candidates to fulfill the UTME requirements.
Jamb Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIABUJA for the 2022/2023 session, should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 180 or above in your JAMB result.
