UNIABUJA Department of Law Admission Requirement 2022/2023

This article is designed to help students who wish to study Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA).

It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in UNIABUJA  to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

The university runs regular degree, diploma, and postgraduate programs. Due to its location in the Federal Capital Territory has a Centre for Distance Learning School which provides university education to those who cannot acquire such education.

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Law; You require;

Five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Literature in English, and Mathematics.

Jamb Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Law under the Faculty of Law in the above Universities include;

Any three Arts or Social Science subjects.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Law if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

  • Two ‘A’ level passes in Arts or Social Science subjects.
  • NCE/ND/First Degree (Second Class Lower).

Jamb Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIABUJA  for the 2022/2023 session, should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 180 or above in your JAMB result.
