The admission requirements consist of O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks
UI Department Of Archaeology Admission Requirements
O’level Subject Combinations
Candidates who wish to study Archaeology in the University Of Ibadan (UI) must possess FiveO’ level subjects at one sitting or 6 ‘O’ level subjects at 2 sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology and two other Science subjects excluding Agricultural Science) from Chemistry, Physics and Geography.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
English Language, Biology and two other Science subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Geography.
UI JAMB Cut-Off Mark
Generally, For any candidate to be admitted into the University Of Ibadan (UI) for any course at all, the candidate must score 200 and above in jamb. That is to say that, the University Of Ibadan (UI) JAMB Cut-Off mark is 200.
UI Department Of Archaeology Departmental Cut-Off Mark
The UI Department of Archaeology Departmental Cut Off Mark is 200. That is to say that, Candidates who seek for admission in the University Of Ibadan (UI) Department of Archaeology must score 200 and above in the school UTME Screening exercise.
