About The Africa Institute Tejumola Olaniyan Creative Writers-in-Residence Fellowship
This residency program is named for the late Nigerian Professor Tejumola Olaniyan and his significant intellectual impact on African literature and critical theory.
The residence program accepts submissions from creative authors relating to Africa and the African diaspora, including novelists, short story writers, playwrights, poets, and scriptwriters, for a total grant of 45,000 AED.
The suggested project can be written in Arabic or English (but additional languages will be considered). The residency welcomes recipients to Sharjah, UAE, for three months to finish their job.
Eligibility
