Requirements for University of Sydney Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification
To be considered for the University of Sydney Undergraduate Scholarship you must meet the following requirements:
- Be an overseas student who has just finished their overseas Baccalaureate (or other degree equating to the HSC) or a domestic student (this includes New Zealand nationals).
- Be making an admissions application via UAC,
- Have an ATAR of 95 or higher (you must have an ATAR of 90 or higher to apply to the Sydney Conservatorium of Music or the Sydney Dental School).
- Apply the year you finish your secondary education (if a Sydney Scholars Award is given, you may postpone it for up to two years).
Note: Domestic students with outstanding academic standing who are disadvantaged by poverty or other factors are also welcome to apply for the Sydney Scholars Awards on equity and hardship grounds.
