RSU Department of Fisheries Management Admission Requirement 2022/2023

This is to inform the general public and all Rivers State University (RSU) aspirants that the Department of Fisheries Management Admission requirements has been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Fisheries Management include Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:

  • Biology/Agricultural Science
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • English Language plus any other Science subject.

Special Requirement (Waiver) Remarks

  • RSU requires credits in English Language and Mathematics

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB

  • English Language
  • Chemistry
  • Biology/Agricultural Science and any other Science subject

Special Requirement (Waiver) Remarks

  • RSU requires Agricultural Science or Biology

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Fisheries Management if you don’t intend to use UTME You require;

  • Two (2) ‘A’ levels pass in Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Mathematics, (Pure & applied) Physics, Geology, and Economics.
  • NCE Agriculture

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into RSU for the 2022/2023 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 180 or above in your JAMB result.
