The National Universities Commission (NUC) has expressed grave concern over the fact that some institutions in Nigeria are running postgraduate programs that are not approved and that lead to the awarding of master’s and doctoral degrees.
The Commission has also noted that some institutes are granting the same postgraduate degrees, either independently or through unauthorized affiliations with universities in Nigeria and abroad.
Such actions go against established standards for quality assurance and are immoral. This article consists of the Nigerian universities approved for post graduate programs.
