The Oyo State UBE Board has rejected any social media platform claiming the board was currently recruiting teachers.
On Wednesday, April 19, a statement issued by Nureni Adeniran, the board chairman, referred to the reporters as “undesirable elements”.
He encouraged the public to be cautious and avoid any deal with the fraudulent posing as UBE recruitment representatives.
This was noticed after the fraudster deceived some unsuspecting victims by promising them employment after collecting huge amounts of money.
They shortlisted names and claimed these were the published names for the OYOSUBEB job interview. The interview was to hold on Tuesday, April 18, and Wednesday, April 19, 2023, on the list, at an unknown venue.
The statement noted that the management has started trying to search for those who are accountable for the fraudulent recruitment and, if they were apprehended, promise to turn them in.
The public can be assured that the board would follow appropriate channels and processes if it plans to recruit competent hands or expand its workforce in the education sector.
