The Pershing Square Foundation awards up to six full scholarships to support outstanding students on the 1+1 MBA, covering both the Master’s degree and the MBA year every year. This scholarship program has no specific target group. Students from all countries are free to apply for this scholarship.
The Oxford 1+1 MBA is a unique, two-year graduate experience that combines the depth of a specialized, one-year master’s degree with the breadth of a top-ranking, one-year MBA. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a graduate degree focusing on business administration, investment management.

Eligibility
- Applicants to the Oxford 1+1 MBA Programme.
- Applicants who apply to any full-time one-year Master’s course that is not currently part of the official list of partner 1+1 MBA Programme; and to the MBA (as a separate application).
- Current Oxford students on a non-MBA course, who are applying to the MBA after the completion of their current Master’s/DPhil course (with no gap year(s)).
You must meet the entry requirements for both the Oxford MBA and your chosen Master’s programme.
Financial benefit
As a Pershing Square scholar you will receive funding for both your Master’s degree and MBA programme course fees. The scholarship also provides at least £15,609 towards living expenses for both years of study.
Application instructions
Candidates must submit a complete application for both courses and upload the scholarship essay in the Funding section of the 1+1 MBA programme application. You must answer the following the question with no more than 500 words:
“How do you intend to change the world? What does this tell us about you as a person?”
Each of the partnering Master’s programmes has its own application form, deadlines and requirements. To be considered for the Pershing Square Scholarship, you must apply by 12 January 2022 for the 1+1 MBA.
Application deadline: Depending on your chosen Master’s programme, the deadline will either be in December 2021 or January 2022.
