This article is designed to students who wish to study Business Administration and Management Faculty of Administration in Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY) Higher National Diploma (HND) as it is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in Osun state polytechnic, to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.
Osun State Polytechnic, Iree also known as OSPOLY is a tertiary learning institution in Iree, Osun State, Nigeria. The Polytechnic was formerly a satellite campus of The Polytechnic, Ibadan. It became autonomous on 12 October 1992 when the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji, Isiaka Adeleke, signed the law establishing the institution alongside The Osun State College of Technology located at Esa-Oke in Osun State. Osun State Polytechnic Iree also has Daily Part Time Program (DPT) which is located at Koko campus.

To study Business Administration and management , candidates must meet the following requirements.
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Business Administration and Management;
You require; English Language (not Literature in English) and Mathematics and
any three subjects from the following: Economics/Commerce,
Principles of Accounts,
Literature in English
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Business Administration and Management under the Faculty of Administration in the above Universities include;
Mathematics and two of the following:
Principles of Accounts and
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Business Administration and Management, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require; a) MAPOLY, BIDA-POLY and OKO-POLY require five (5) credit passes in not more than two sittings including Economics or Commerce.
b) OFFA-POLY requires credit in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any one of Commerce, Business Method, Book keeping, Accounts and Geography.
c) YABATECH requires 5 credits in not more than 2 sittings which must include Mathematics, English Language and Geography and any other two from course requirement in column 2 relevant subject. Also requires as UTME subjects Mathematics, Economics, Principles of Account.
d) OSPOLY requires credits in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two of commerce, Business Method, Book keeping, Accounts and Geography.
e) LASPOTECH does not accept Literature-in-English as course requirement for Business studies.
f) DELPOLY accepts Agric. Sc. and Literature in English.
g) RAMATPOLY accepts Certificate in Accountancy from a recognised Institution plus necessary O/L requirements
h) OTEFE does not accept History.
(i) KWARA-POLY offers it as Business Studies. Does not accept History but accepts Statistics and Secretarial Duties.
(j) EDE-POLY requires credits passes in one science subject, Economics and does not accept Shorthand, Typewriting, History, Office Practice, Literature in English.
(k) NEKEDE-POLY accepts as one of the three other subjects Statistic, CRS, Information Communication Technology and any one of Science subjects
(l) COABS accepts Certificate Course of the College or from any recognised institution OR any other qualification recognized by the College Academic Board.
(m) BAUCHI-POLY requires Government in addition to compulsory, Mathematics and Economics.
(n) AUCHI-POLY requires that the relevant number of credit should include those Mathematics, English Language and Economics.
o) IMO-POLY accepts only Biology or Agricultural Science. It does not accept History and Lit. in Eng. as course requirement.
p) BEN-POLY requires five ‘O’ level credits including English Language and Mathematics and three other subjects from Economics, Business Methods, Principle of Accounts, Literature-in-English, Commerce, History, Statistics, Geography, Government, Agric. Science/Biology.
q) OZORO requires five credit passes in English Language (not Literature in English or Oral English), Mathematics and three other subjects from Economics, Business Methods, Principles of Account, Literature in English, Commerce, History/CRS, Statistics, Geography, Government, Agricultural Science/Biology.
r) FIDEI-POLY requires credits in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two of commerce, Business Methods, Bookkeeping, Accounts and Geography at not more than two sittings, but does not accept Shorthand, Typewriting, History, Office Practice, and Literature in English
All candidates interested in getting admitted to the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree for the 2019/2020 session, should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 120 or above in your JAMB result.
