NUC Grants Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU) Accounting and two Other Programmes full Accreditation Status

The Accounting Program of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai has received full academic approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC).

In a letter to the University visitor, copied to the Vice-Chancellor, the Director of Accreditation of the Commission, Dr Maryam Sali, said the accreditation involving Public Administration and Transport Management was the result of late work at the University last year by the Commission as part of its official mandate to authorize educational programs at national universities.

The letter went on to say that the university was granted a full five-year authorization of operation.

Commenting on the outcome, the Vice-Chancellor of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University , Professor Abu Kasim Adamu commended the efforts of the Niger State Government under the leadership of the University Visitor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello.

This commendation was made for the financial support provided by the University through exercise and forward-looking. in subsequent support that will include more programs.

Accordingly, the Vice-Chancellor also expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology under the Honorable Commissioner, Professor Abubakar Baba Aliyu for all his encouragement and support.

It will be recalled that the National Universities Commission organized the accreditation of educational programs at the University in October / November 2021 to ensure their effectiveness.
