NSUK Department of Agricultural Education Admission Requirement

This article is designed to help students who wish to study Agricultural Education under the Faculty of Education at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK).

Admission Requirements for Agricultural Education

WAEC/NECO Subject Combination

The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Agricultural Education is Five (5) ‘O’ Level credits or equivalent in English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science., Mathematics and another relevant subject.

JAMB Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.

Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Agricultural Education at NSUK are any three subjects from Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Physics, Economics, Geography and Mathematics.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Agricultural Education if you do not intend to use UTME.

You require

• Two passes at ‘A’ level in Biology /Zoology /Botany and any other Science subject.
• NCE merit pass level in Agriculture (Double Major).
• NCE at merit pass level in Biology and any other Science subject.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into NSUK for the 2023/2024 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
