In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Sociology under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above Universities include;

Government/ History plus two (2) other Social Sciences/Arts subject

O’Level Requirements


The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Sociology;

You require;Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, History/Government/Eco nomics one (1) Science subject and anyArts or Social Science subject

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

PLASU requires‘o’ level credit passes in English Language and three (3) Social sciences or Arts subjects plus at least ‘O’ level pass in Mathematics.
