    Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements


    In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Chemical Sciences under the Faculty of Sciences in the above Universities include;

    Chemistry and two of Physics, Biology and Mathematics.

     

    SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS 

     

    OOU requires Chemistry and any two (2) of Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Agricultural Science and Geography

    O’Level Requirements


    The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Chemical Sciences;

    You require;Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:

    (1) GODFREY require five ‘O’ level credit passes including English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and any other Science subject.

    (2) GODFREY requires five SSCE credit passes in not more than two sittings in subjects which include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

    Direct Entry Requirements


    These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Chemical Sciences, if you don’t intend to use UTME.

    You require;

    (i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and any one of Physics, Mathematics or Biology.
    (ii) ND/NCE with good grades in relevant ‘O’ level subjects.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:

    (1) GODFREY requires two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and any one (1) of Physics, Mathematics or Biology. ND/NCE with good grade in relevant ‘O’ level subjects

    (2) CRUTECH accepts:
    a)  For Chemistry ND (Upper credit) in Science Laboratory Technology, HND (Lower credit) in Food Technology, NCE (merit) in Chemistry and any other Science subject, IJMB
    (B grade) in Chemistry and any other Science subject.
    b)  For Biochemistry ND (Upper credit) in Science Laboratory Technology, HND (Lower credit) in Food Technology, NCE (merit) in Chemistry and Biology, IJMB (B grade) in Chemistry and Biology.

    (3) OOU Do not accept Biology
