Entry Requirements

UTME Requirements

In UTME, please note that the English Language is compulsory for this course; the three (3) other UTME subjects needed are Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.

Direct Entry Requirements

  • ‘A’ level/IJMB passes or equivalents in Physics and Mathematics.
  • ND upper credit or distinction in Agricultural Engineering and Agricultural Bio Resources Engineering or related from an accredited institution.
  • HND in Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Bio-Resources Engineering, or related from an accredited institution. 
  • Two (2) `A’ level/IJMB passes in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • HND upper credit and a first-class degree in relevant programs.
  • HND lower credit/ND upper credit, and NCE Technical.
  • NCE credit in relevant programs plus UTME requirements.


Agricultural Engineers apply scientific and technological knowledge to produce agricultural machinery, buildings, and equipment to increase agricultural output.

Agricultural engineers are why farming has become easier, safer and more widely practiced.
