MRS Oil Nigeria Plc Scholarship Eligibility

Secondary School Applicants

• The scholarship will be presented to students who have completed the Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE) and have a minimum of five (5) distinctions, i.e. A, which is equivalent to the excellent grading system in the relevant subjects (with at least credit in Mathematics and English Language) at one sitting.
•  Applicants must have the JSCE results available during the application period.
•  Applicant should be at most 18 years old at the time of application.
•  The applicant must be a Nigerian.
•  Applicant must be a child of a confirmed employee of MRS Oil Nigeria PIc during the application period / Applicant must be a child of an individual shareholder of MRS Oil Nigeria PIc during the application period.
• The shareholder must have held their shareholding for under five years during the application period.
• Applicants nominated by a corporate shareholder will not be eligible. A corporate shareholder is a company with shareholding(s) in MRS Oil Nigeria PIc].
•  Applicant must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship.

Undergraduate Applicants

• Scholarships will be presented to students who have completed the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent in NECO and GCE. The candidates must have a minimum of five (5) distinctions, i.e. A, which is equivalent to an excellent grading system in the five subjects relevant to the course of study in the higher institution of choice (with a minimum of a credit in Mathematics and English Language) at one sitting.
•  Applicant must have been offered admission into an approved tertiary institution (University/Polytechnic/Monotechnic) in Nigeria.
•  Applicants should be at most 25 years old during the application period.
•  The applicant must be a Nigerian.
•  Applicant must be a child of a confirmed employee of MRS Oil Nigeria PIc / Applicant must be a child of an individual shareholder of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc during the application period.
• The shareholder must have held their shareholding for under five years during the application period.
• Applicants nominated by a corporate shareholder will not be eligible. A corporate shareholder is a company with shareholding(s) in MRS Oil Nigeria Plc].
•  Applicant must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship.

• Junior Secondary JSCE result for the Secondary School category and SSCE result for the Tertiary School category in one sitting.
•  Admission letter
•  Birth certificate/affidavit (Birth affidavit date must not be earlier than 60 days before September 7, 2023)
•  School fees document signed by the school
•  Parent means of identification.

Applications open on September 7, 2023 and close on December 31, 2023, and shortlisted applicants will be contacted for further assessment.
