Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED) resumption date for the second semester 2023/2024 academic session has been released

The management of the Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED) has announced the date for the resumption of academic activities for the second semester, the 2023/2024 academic session.

MOCPED Resumption Date

Students at Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, MOCPED, will resume classes on Monday, July 18, 2023, for the Second Semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Session.

Part-time and full-time NCE students were previously scheduled to return on Monday, July 11, 2023, which coincided with the declared Federal Government public holiday Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

At its 128th regular meeting on Monday, 4 July 2023, the College Management noted that the 2023/2024 Academic Calendar for NCE students indicated that Monday, 11 July 2023 had been fixed for the resumption of all NCE students for the Second Semester 2023/2024 academic session.

However, given the Federal Government’s declaration of the 11th and 12th as public holidays for Eid-el-Kabir, the College Management approved the recommendation to move the resumption date for all NCE students from the 11th – the 18th of July 2023.

All stakeholders are urged to take note of the change in the resumption date and follow proper procedures.
