The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Surveying and Geo-Informatics include the Five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics

- Chemistry and one subject from below:
- Fine Arts
- Geography or Wood Work
- Biology
- Economics
- Technical Drawing
- Further Mathematics
- Introduction to Building Construction
- Bricklaying/Block laying
- Concreting, Wall, Floors, and Ceiling Finishing
- Joinery
- Carpentary
- Decorative Painting
- Lining, Sign & Design
- Wall Hanging
- Color Mixing/Matching & Glazing
- Ceramics
- Graphics Design
- Graphic Printing
- Basic Electricity
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics, and any of Chemistry, Geography, Art, Biology, and Economics

MAUTECH requires Physics, Mathematics, and any One of Chemistry, Geography, Biology/ Agric. Science and Economics
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Surveying and Geo-Informatics, if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Mathematics or Physics and Chemistry, Geography or Fine Arts.
- ND/HND upper credits in relevant field.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into MAUTECH for the 2022/2023 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a score of a minimum of 160 or above in your JAMB result.
