The Faculty of Engineering
It has five departments which include:
- Marine Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Petroleum and Gas Engineering
B.Eng. Marine Engineering requires Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology English Language, Mathematics, and any two of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
B.Eng. Civil Engineering requires Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology English Language, Mathematics, and any two of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
B.Eng Electrical Engineering requires Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology English Language, Mathematics, and any two of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering requires Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology English Language, Mathematics, and any two of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
B.Eng. Petroleum and Gas Engineering requires Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, Mathematics, English Language and any two of Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
The Faculty of Environmental Management
It has four departments which include:
- Environmental Management and Pollution
- Meteorology and Climate Change
- Fisheries and Aquaculture
- Marine Geology
B.Sc. Environmental Management and Pollution Control require Five credits in English Language, Economics, Mathematics and two other social science subjects.
Or one social science subject and any other subject in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other social science subject
B.Sc. Meteorology and Climate Change requires five credits in English Language, Geography, Mathematics, Economics, and two other social science subjects.
Or one social science subject and any other subject, English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Geography and any other social science subject
B.Sc. Fisheries and Aquaculture require Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology/Agricultural Science.
And also Physics/Economics/Geography, English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and Mathematics/Physics
B.Sc Marine Geology requires Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Economics/Geography, and Biology.

This faculty has four departments which include
- Nautical Science
- Transport Logistics Management
- Marine Economics and Finance
- Port Management
Programs Ordinary level Requirements UTME Requirements
B.Sc. Nautical Science requires Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Geography English Language, and three of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
B.Sc. Transport logistics Management requires Five credits in Mathematics, English Language, Economics, and one other social science subject, English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and other social science subjects.
