In this article, we are going to be looking at the necessary requirements any candidate who desire to study Law in the University Of Lagos (UNILAG) must meet before been admitted in the school.
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is one of the leading Universities in Nigeria and West Africa at large and her department/ faculty of Law is also one of the best departments in the school which has made it very difficult for any candidate to be admitted until the candidate will meet the below requirements.

1. O’LEVEL SUBJECT COMBINATION
The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has made it compulsory that before any candidate will be admitted in the school Department of Law, he/she must posses a minimum of five (5) credits in the following subjects; English Language, Maths, Literature in English and two other subjects one of which must be Social Science/Art subject Such as Economics, Government or C.R.S.
2. UTME SUBJECT COMBINATION
Also the candidate must also write the following subjects in JAMB; English Language, Literature In English, Government and either Economics or C.R.S.

3. SCHOOL JAMB CUT OFF MARK
It’s very important for every candidate who want to study any course at all in UNILAG to meet the school JAMB Cut Off Mark and for the purpose of this article, the University Of Lagos (UNILAG) JAMB Cut off mark for this year is 180. That is to say, for anyone to be accepted in UNILAG, he/she must score 180 and above in JAMB.
NOTE: You must choose UNILAG as your First choice institution.
4. THE DEPARTMENTAL CUT OFF MARK
The University of Lagos Faculty of Law as a very prolific faculty in the school has a very high Departmental cut off mark of 250 UTME Score. This means that, for a candidate to be admitted in the Department of Law In UNILAG, He/she must score 250 and above in the UTME Aptitude test exam.
When a candidate meets all this requirements, it’s assumed that the sky is the person’s starting point because definitely he/she will be admitted as a Law student.
