LAUTECH has issued a notice regarding the upcoming 15th convocation participation to all First Degree and Postgraduate students graduating.
Mandatory Participation and Dress Code
All graduating Postgraduate students and first degree are required to take part fully dressed in approved academic gowns for the academic procession.
Students will be allowed to process, and they will only be allowed to join the procession midway if they comply with the dress code. Students will not be allowed to enter or exit the venue at will during the ceremony.
Fees and Payments
Graduating students must pay all fees stipulated to them, including the fee for the Order of Proceedings, in which the names of all graduating students are contained.
The fees for the academic gowns are as follows:
- First Degree: N10,000.00
- Master/Postgraduate Diplomas: N12,000.00
- Ph.D. Degree: N17,500.00

Graduating students must arrive at the designated place, the robing venue, by 9:00 am. At 9.30 am, the procession for graduating students on each day will start.
Gown Return Deadline
Graduands must return their hired academic gowns to their respective Faculty Officers/College Secretary, from whom they collected them on or before Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023.
Until the gown is returned, defaulters will be charged a fine of One thousand Naira (N1,000.00) daily.
