Lagos State University (LASU) is committed to ensuring that all its graduates are enrolled correctly at the Orientation Camp at the start of each Service Year and mobilized for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Given this, LASU has offered crucial information to graduates joining the National Youth Service Corps for the 2023 Batch A stream 2.
NYSC Registration Details
The 2023 Batch A stream 2 NYSC registration period started on April 11 and runs until April 17, 2023.
Prospective Corps Members (PCMs), also known as graduates, should take note of these dates and complete their registration in accordance with them.
School ID Cards
LASU advises students to get their school ID cards because they will be used as a form of identification at the orientation camp(s).
Date of Graduation Consistency
All PCMs must ensure that the date of graduation listed on the NYSC Portal, their Call-Up letters, and their Notification of Results/Certificates are all consistent.
To prevent being turned away, PCMs should present these documents and their School Identity Card at the Students’ Affairs Division before going to the Orientation Camp.
Self-Generated Notification of Results
To ensure consistency throughout the document(s), Lagos State University graduates are encouraged to print their self-generated Notification of Results on plain, white conqueror paper.
LASU graduates must adhere to the registration criteria and documentation specifications provided by the institution as they prepare for their National Youth Service Corps adventure.
These guidelines help graduates guarantee a smooth transition into their NYSC service year.
