The KTH Scholarships are fully-funded scholarships. Kungliga Tekniska högskolan (KTH Royal Institute of Technology) offers four different scholarship opportunities for Master’s studies. A limited number of KTH Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence to students who are required to pay tuition fees every year. It is also awarded to students who have applied for a Master’s programme at KTH as first priority.

Level/Field(s) of study: All programmes except for Erasmus Mundus, EIT Digital, EIT InnoEnergy and EIT Urban Mobility programmes.
Number of Scholarships: In 2021, 10 % of the scholarship applicants admitted to a programme were nominated for the KTH Scholarship (69 out of 669).
Target group: Citizens from non-EU/EEA/EFTA countries
The KTH Scholarship covers the tuition fee at KTH for the first and the second year, provided that the study results during the first year are satisfactory.

- You must be required to pay tuition fees and have applied for a Master’s programme at KTH as your first priority. Students with a conditional eligibility are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
- Only applicants who fulfil the admission requirements of the programme applied for are eligible for a scholarship.
The scholarship is granted primarily on the basis of academic excellence and the nomination process will be undertaken in parallel with the selection process for admission to the programme.
