This article is designed to help students who wish to study Drama / Dramatic / Performing Arts under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities at Kaduna State University.
It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in KASU to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.
The Kaduna State University was established under the Kaduna State Law Number 3 promulgated on 21st May 2004. The promulgation was a consequence of the obvious and felt need to boost higher education in the State and the country in general.
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Drama / Dramatic / Performing Arts; You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include English Language and Arts subjects.
Jamb Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Drama / Dramatic / Performing Arts under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above Universities include;
Literature in English and two (2) other relevant subjects
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Drama / Dramatic / Performing Arts if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require; Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Arts, Social Sciences, or Science subjects.
Jamb Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into KASU for the 2022/2023 session, should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a score of a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
