How to Calculate FUWUKARI Post UTME/Aggregate Score for All Courses

Since cut-off marks differ for different institutions, many students need help calculating their aggregate score and cut-off mark.

But before we get to that, this article will explain what FUWUKARI Post UTME/Aggregate Score mean and what factors need to be considered before calculating FUWUKARI aggregate score.

What Is the Aggregate Score

That means the candidate must get at least 50 Questions Correctly. The aggregate score will be used to determine the cut-off point for admission into each program.

Cut-off points for each course will be determined by the performance of all the candidates who applied for the course.

What Is Post UTME Score

After every UTME exercise, the exam body sets a particular mark {e.g 120}. This mark is a score a candidate must have or cross to qualify him or her to sit for the chosen school’s POST UTME exercise.

This said mark is announced to all schools to enable them to decide the number of candidates they will admit.

After the school’s decision, they announce a particular mark that must not be lower than the mark the UTME body fixed.

Any candidate who crosses the mark set by the UTME body and does not reach the chosen school’s mark is NEVER eligible to sit for the school’s POST UTME.

This mark or score set by the school admission board is known as SCHOOL’S CUT-OFF MARK.

How to Calculate FUWUKARI Aggregate Score

When calculating FUWUKARI  aggregate score, three areas are considered. they are;

O’Level Grades

Examples of this grade include the following;

  • A1 – 6
  • B2- 5
  • B3-4
  • C4-3
  • C5-2
  • C6-1

The maximum is 30 points, split the maximum points to 20 through multiplication by 2/3.

Post UTME Score

The Post UTME is split into 30 marks using 0.3 as the multiplier.

JAMB Score

The candidate’s JAMB score will be divided into 8.

For a better understanding, let’s use Treasure as a case study.

Assume Treasure scores 250; her score will be 250/2= 31.25

Total Sum of O’level Grades, Post UTME score and JAMB Score

Maths B2-5, English A1-6, Biology B2-5, Physics C4-3, Chemistry A1-6, Total gross points for O’Level is = 25; the score is then multiplied by 2/3 ie 25 x 2/3= 16.7. She scored 55 in her Post UTME, and it is multiplied by 0.3 ie 55 x 0.3= 16.5

Therefore, Treasure’s aggregate score is the sum of the three scores ie JAMB + O’Level + Post UTME, which is 31.25 + 16.7 + 16.5= 64.45.
