GSU Cut-Off Mark 2022/2023: All Courses – JAMB & Post UTME

GSU Cut-Off Marks for Admission 2022/2023 academic session has been released: The Gombe State University (GSU) cut-off mark is based on merit and catchment area benefits.

State University is located in Gombe State, Nigeria. It is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. Faculties Arts & Social Sciences Education Science Medical College Pharmaceutical Sciences School of Basic and Remedial Studies School of Postgraduate Studies Law.

GSU 2022/2023 JAMB Cut Off Mark 

The UTME Cut off Mark for GSU is 160. Candidates should have made Gombe State University their first choice in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

Also, Candidates must have at least 5 Credit Passes in one sitting in the relevant O’Level subjects, including Mathematics and English.

With all these requirements, you stand a good chance of being admitted into Gombe State University. Make sure you have an excellent O’Level result and a good JAMB Score.

GSU 2022/2023 Departmental Cut-Off Mark And Point For All Courses 

  • All Engineering courses – 200 and above in jamb and 60% in post UTME
  • All Basic medical sciences courses 180 and above in jamb and 50% and above in post UTME
  • Professional and highly competitive courses – Law, medicine and surgeon, pharmacy 240 and above in jamb and 85% and above in post UTME
  • All Agricultural and educational courses is 120 – 180 in some institution and 20% and above in post UTME
  • All courses in other faculties like Art, commercial, physical and natural sciences are 180 and above in JAMB and 40% in post UTME.

HOW TO CALCULATE GSU AGGREGATE SCORE 

To correctly calculate your aggregate, know that the JAMB Examination comprises 400 marks, whereas the GSU Post UTME is made 100 marks.

  1. Divide your JAMB score by 8,
  2. Divide your Post UTME score by  2,
  3. Add up the result.

If Treasure scored 240 in her JAMB and 80 in her Post UTME, then her Aggregate score can be obtained by following these steps.

240/8= 30

80/2= 40

40+ 30= 70

Treasure’s aggregate score is 70.
