The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Financial Management Technology include Five SSCE credits in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Economics and any other two science subjects from below:
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Biology
- Geography
- Health Science
- Metal Works
- Wood Work
- Agricultural Science
- Technical Drawing
- Nutrition and Food Science
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Economics and any one of Chemistry, Physics, or Biology
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Financial Management Technology if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two A’ Level passes in Economics, Accountancy, Business Management, Government, and Geography. Candidate must have a Science background at ‘O’ Level.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted to the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, for the 2022/2023 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 160 or above in your JAMB result.
