FUTMINNA Department of Information & and Media Technology Engineering Admission Requirement 2023/2024

This is to inform the general public and all Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA) aspirants that the Department of Information & and Media Technology Engineering admission requirements has been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Information & Media Technology Engineering include the following:

• Five SSCE credit passes, including English Language, Economics, and Mathematics

Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks

FUTMINNA accepts the following;

• Telecommunication Engineering requires five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any other Science subject.
• Information and Media Technology requires five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and two other relevant Science subjects.

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB

• English Language
• Mathematics
• Economics and any one of Account, Commerce, and Government

Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks

FUTMINNA requires the following:

• Telecommunication Engineering requires Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• Information and Media Technology requires Mathematics, Physics, and any science subject.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Information And Media Technology Engineering if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

• ‘A’ Level passes/ND and HND in relevant fields into 200 and 300 levels.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into FUTMINNA  for the 2023/2024 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 180 or above in your JAMB result.
