The Federal University, Otuoke, is a federal government-owned University located in Otuoke, a town in the Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa State, Southern Nigeria.
The University was established in 2011 and started with 282 pioneer students. It offers degree courses at undergraduate levels. The University offers undergraduate programs in the faculty of Science, Management Science, Social Science and Humanities, Education, Engineering and Technology.
O’LEVEL SUBJECT COMBINATION
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study English Language and Communication Studies;
You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include Literature in English, English Language and three other Arts or Social Science subjects
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study English Language and Communication Studies under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above Universities include;
Literature in English, one other Arts subject and another Arts or Social Science subject.
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study English Language and Communication Studies, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ level passes to include Literature in English and one (1) other Arts subject
