It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in KASU to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.
The Federal University, Lokoja, popularly known as Fulokoja, is a federal university in the confluence city of Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State, North-Central Nigeria. Lokoja lies at the confluence of the Niger and Benue rivers.
The Federal University, Lokoja was established in February 2011 by the Federal Government of Nigeria as a result of the indispensable need to create more universities in the country
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Geography;
You require;
Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Geography, and any three (3) Arts or Social Science subjects with at least a pass in Mathematics.
Jamb Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Geography under the Faculty of Social & Management Sciences in the above Universities include;
Geography and two (2) other Arts or Social Science subjects
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Geography if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require; Two ‘A’ level passes in Geography and any one of Economics., Government, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics
Jamb Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into FULOKOJA for the 2022/2023 session, should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
